Born from bold decisions.
Built for women who don’t wait.

This is the story of how one “yes” became a global sisterhood.

The Galavant Society began with a single, powerful idea: stop waiting to see the world.

Stop waiting for the right time, the perfect travel partner, or the stars to finally align — just BOOK. THE. TRIP.

It all started when…

Our founder, Alle Pierce, closed the chapter on her career in TV news to follow her passion for travel. She began exploring the world alongside her mom Linda, a seasoned travel advisor and the woman who sparked Alle’s lifelong wanderlust. Together, they curated thoughtful itineraries and unforgettable moments and shared their adventures online… and before long, other women started asking, “Can I come too?”

The answer was — and still is — yes.

What began as a personal journey quickly became a movement: a vibrant community of independent, curious, kind women who wanted more than just a trip. They wanted…

Connection.
Perspective.
A little luxury.
And a lot of meaning.

Our travelers span generations, careers, and zip codes, but they all have one thing in common: they’re done waiting.

So whether you're booking your first solo flight or collecting your 20th passport stamp, we’re here to remind you, this world is yours to galavant.

Galavants through the Years

Galavants through the Years 〰️

2021

We launched our first official trips under the name Gals Abroad Getaways.

Coming out of a global pandemic, we heard from so many women who were craving connection and ready to see the world on their own terms.

2022

We brought our first groups to Paris and the Loire Valley (yes, we stayed in a château), and then to Greece, a trip that’s since become a Galavant Society favorite.

2023

We were heading to new corners of the world: Morocco, Italy, and back to the Greek islands.

We hired our first team member, Brea, and started hosting local meetups to help our travelers connect off the road too.

2024

We doubled our trip offerings, expanded to Asia and the Middle East, returned to Europe, and brought our Gals to the English countryside for a cozy holiday Galavant.

2025

And in 2025, we officially rebranded as The Galavant Society, a name that reflects who we’ve become and where we’re headed.

We launched full-service private travel planning and expanded our in-house team of travel designers.

What We Stand For

INCLUSIVITY

You belong here. Our community welcomes women of all backgrounds, races, sexual orientations, gender identities, body types, and life stages. We celebrate what makes you unique and we’re intentional about creating a space where everyone feels seen, safe, and supported.

RESPECT

We lead with kindness toward one another and the cultures we explore.

That means listening deeply, showing up with empathy, and lifting each other up, both on the road and off.

CURIOSITY

We believe curiosity is the first step to connection.

Whether it’s asking questions about local traditions or starting a conversation with a fellow traveler, we honor the power of learning, unlearning, and growing together.

RESPONSIBILITY

We travel consciously and with care for the planet, the people we meet, and the communities we engage with.

From where we stay to who we partner with, we prioritize ethical choices that support women and give back locally.

ZERO TOLERANCE
FOR HATE

Racism, bigotry, xenophobia, homophobia, transphobia, and ableism have no place here. Ever.
We’re committed to creating a safe, affirming space for everyone who joins us — and we expect the same from our travelers.

We’re just getting started.

Our vision is to grow intentionally. To build a global community of independent women who are tired of waiting and ready to live boldly. We already see it happening: women who met on a trip now traveling the world together, booking their next adventures, showing up for each other beyond the airport goodbye.

The dream? To one day create a space of our own, a retreat property abroad where the spirit of Galavanting never stops. But for now, we’ll keep doing what we do best: designing elevated, connection-driven travel experiences for women who crave more than just a vacation.

Because this isn’t just about where you go.
It’s about who you become along the way.
