Super Simple Travel Hair & Make-Up Routine
All the products I use to get ready in under 10 minutes when I’m traveling
I hate getting ready when I'm traveling (actually I hate getting ready period).
I'm not the type of Gal that LOVES her skincare routine or someone who enjoys trying out different makeup trends or hairstyles. Going to Sephora is so overwhelming to me lol.
I like ease and simplicity when it comes to my glam and once I find my routine, I stick to it.
This is my travel superpower & I chalk this particular skill up to my many years in TV news doing my own glam.
Anyways, if you too HATE the chore of getting ready but like to look put together, I've shared a round up of the exact products I use in case you're looking to simplify your travel glam routine.

Make Up & Skincare
Supergoop! SPF Moisturizer
As we know, I'm lazy when it comes to skincare so when I find a product that's 2 in 1 (moisturizer & SPF) I'm all about it. Plus it smells so yummy!
Lashify DIY Lash Extensions
These lash extensions have completely changed my makeup routine aka I rarely wear anything else on my eyes because I wake up with STUNNING lashes and they last 10+ days. I know doing lash extensions might seem intimidating but trust me you'll get the hang of it + they have so many helpful videos.
Ilia Super Serum
Another amazing 2 in 1 product (SPF & Serum). I use this as my replacement for foundation. It is lightweight your skin, easy to apply, and great for hot environments.
MAC Studio Fix Concealer
All the TV news Girlies use MAC and there's a few products I can never give up - this is one of them. It’s perfect for covering up little break outs or sun spots.
MAC Mineralize Setting Powder
Another tried and true product, I've been using this powder for the last 10+ years. If you have never used a setting powder I highly recommend adding it to your routine because it’s super light and really works to keep you looking fresh all day long.
MAC Blush
No explanation needed - I just love this blush. Adds the perfect amount of tint to your face.
Haus Labs Highlighter
I saw this in Sephora and thought it was the most beautiful highlighter + I adore Lady Gaga. It gives me the perfect glow and really melts into the skin.
Better than Sex Mascara
Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
MAC Setting Spray
Another favorite from MAC. This is hands down the best setting spray. I used this when I worked as a TV news Gal in Palm Springs and had to stand outside in 126+ degree heat for live shots and this is what helped to ensure my makeup was not dripping down my face. TRUST ME.
YSL Lipstick
It's a splurge for sure. But I LOVEEEEE this lipstick. I use the Electric Love shade.
Hair Tools
Power Converter for Hair Tools
Okay listen, I've been burned (pun intended) by so many converters that don't actually convert my hot hair tools. This one is the only one that I have used with my hair crimper in multiple countries & have not had issues. I have not tried it with a blowdryer so try at your own risk but for curlers, crimpers and straighteners THIS is the best. BUT you have to make sure the tool you are using is DUAL VOLTAGE.
Dual Voltage Hair Crimper
I've really been leaning into the crimped hair life haha. Mostly because my hair rarely holds curls but when I crimp it, it stays for like 3 days.
IGK Beach Club Texture Spray
My hair is straight and has zero volume to it. This fixes that. I've been using it for 5+ years and it's become a staple in my routine +it smells so yummy.
Hairspray
I splurge on a lot of glam products but hairspray isn't one of them. And I gotta say, this stuff really works and it's literally $8.
